Five Simpson Brothers

This picture was distributed at one of the Simpson Family Reunions that is for the descendants of the 5 brothers shown here.  These 5 Simpson brothers were sons of Richard L. "Dick" Simpson. 

In order, from left to right, R. Walter, Peter Andrew "Andy", James Robert "J.R." (my great-grandfather), John "Johnny", and Robert Lee "Lee".

The date of this picture is unknown, but the second eldest brother, William T. is not in this picture and he died in 1929.  Frank also died early, since Andy was married to his widow by the 1920s.  Lee died in 1939, so the picture is probably dated in the late 1930s.  The remaining brother, Jesse, is not in the picture either.  The story I was told is that he was somehow estranged from the family.
