SIMPSON, Peter Andrew (Andy) - Wilderness, MO
Peter Andrew Simpson, son of Richard and Donie Simpson, was born January 31, 1882, and departed this life September 22, 1945, age 63 years, 7 months and 22 days.
He was married to Ruth Haynes Simpson, March 20, 1926. To this union two children were born, Venton and Mabel, both at home.
He was converted September 5, 1945, and was ready to go when the Lord called him home.
He leaves to mourn his going, his loving wife, one son and one daughter; one stepson, Garnett of Wilderness, MO.; four brothers: J. R. Simpson of Wilderness, MO., Walter Simpson of Winona, MO. , John Simpson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Jesse Simpson of Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Larimore, Longview, Washington; Mrs. Bessie Boze of Olden, MO., and a host of relatives and friends. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Clarence Dodson, and burial was in Wilderness cemetery.
