SIMPSON, Elizabeth Ann (Lizzie) [Nee MULLIS] - Wilderness, MO

        Elizabeth Ann Mullis, daughter of Elisha and Sarah Mullis, was born February 15, 1879 and departed this life on March 15, 1958 at the age of 79 years and 1 month.
        On March 18, 1899 she was united in marriage to James R. Simpson and to this union thirteen children were born. Her husband and two children preceded her in death.
        She leaves to mourn her passing eleven children: Mrs. Agnes Millsap, Clyde Simpson, Leonard Simpson and Irvin Simpson of Wilderness, Mo.; Mrs. Nell Marley, Mrs. Melba Foster, Mrs. Reva Marley, Mrs. Mildred Foster, Mrs. Edith Dailey, Guy Simpson and Monroe Simpson all of Kansas City Mo.; 33 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
        She was a member of the Methodist Church and lived a devoted Christian life until her passing. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
        Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2:00 o'clock at Wilderness with Clarence Dotson officiating. Burial was in the Wilderness Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home.
        Pallbearers were Raymond Millsap, Ruel Marley, Loyd Dailey, Herman Foster, Jess Foster and Clell Marley.
